Alternative Sources Of Energy – What’s Available For You?
By Jonathan Beebe
You may not even know this, or think that’s even an option for the regular person, but there are in fact alternative sources of energy that you can easily take advantage of. Most likely the reason why you don’t know about this is because the large economic interests that “power” today’s world make a huge profit from the non-renewable energy sources that people like you and I feel like we have no other option but to use.

The good news is that because of technologies such as the internet, ideas, new discoveries, and possibilities are able to be shared, and alternative sources of energy is one of those possibilities. I have personally broken free from the energy companies, their environmentally harmful non-renewable energy, and rising prices and gone “off grid” and so can anyone else who can follow step-by-step directions.

You basically have two options when it comes to alternative sources of energy. Neither one is better than the other and, given the right information and guidance,

are both inexpensive options and are both highly effective. Which ones you decide to go with all depends on personal preference and which is best for your particular location.

Wind Turbines and Solar Panels

The two most common alternative sources of energy are wind turbines (aka wind generators) and solar panels. I personally chose to go with the wind turbines just because it was slightly better for my particular location, but it was mostly a flip of the coin decision—both are easy to build, and the guide I used to learn how to take advantage of these alternative sources of energy showed me exactly the materials I should by for the most durable and inexpensive solution.

I am happy to say that after building just three of these wind turbines, I am completely “off the grid” and can use as much energy as me and my family needs without having to worry about paying a dime for energy, never be affected by local power outages, and all this without doing any harm to the environment.
